Raypak Commercial H/WH/P PIM Diagnostic Guide
Raypak's H/WH/P commercial heaters (302C-902C, 504A-2004A, 992C-2342C, 2505A-4005A) use a VERSA IC® display paired with a Platform Ignition Module (PIM). The PIM reports faults through a red LED on the module itself, and the VERSA IC display echoes the same fault in plain text. The two mid-size lines — 504A-2004A and 2505A-4005A — document a full LED flash-code table; 302C-902C and 992C-2342C describe the same ignition-lockout mechanism narratively without a numbered flash table, so lean on the VERSA IC display text for those two.
PIM LED Flash Codes (504A-2004A and 2505A-4005A)
Core codes below are worded almost identically in both manuals. Where a manual defines additional flash counts, they're noted separately.

302C-902C and 992C-2342C: Ignition Lockout (No Numbered Flash Table)
These two manuals describe the same PIM + VERSA IC ignition-lockout behavior in prose rather than a flash-code table: on single trial-for-ignition models, the PIM enters ignition lockout and its LED indicates the fault while the VERSA IC display states "Ignition Lockout." On multi-trial-for-ignition models, the control runs an interpurge delay and additional ignition attempts before entering lockout the same way. Confirm gas supply, spark, and wiring, and read the exact fault text from the VERSA IC display rather than assuming a specific flash count.
Model Notes
- H/WH/P 302C-902C and 992C-2342C share the same PIM (015997F on most sizes) and VERSA IC board part numbers within each manual's model range, and the same core sensor and switch part numbers as the 504A/2505A lines.
- H/WH/P 504A-2004A and 2505A-4005A are the only two lines in this group with a documented numbered PIM LED flash-code table (Table Y in both manuals).
- 2505A-4005A defines more flash counts than 504A-2004A (adds an ID Card Fault, Ignition Proving Current Fault, Water Pressure Fault, and Blower Speed Fault) — treat it as the more complete reference table for this platform.
