How Stripe Payout Speed Works in PoolDial
PoolDial uses Stripe Connect for online customer payments. PoolDial can show whether Stripe is connected and whether payouts are enabled, but Stripe controls the bank account, payout schedule, verification, and Instant Payout availability.
Short answer: Open PoolDial on desktop, go to Billing > Stripe, then click Open Stripe Dashboard. In Stripe Express, check Balances or Payouts for payout schedule or Instant Payout options.
Where to edit payout settings
- Log in to PoolDial on desktop.
- Go to Billing, then Stripe.
- Click Open Stripe Dashboard.
- In Stripe Express, look under Balances, Payouts, or Account settings.
- If Stripe shows a payout schedule, update it there. If Stripe shows Pay out funds or Instant payout, you can start an instant payout from Stripe.
If you only see the payout destination or bank account screen, you are probably editing where payouts go, not how fast payouts happen.
What instant-eligible means
Instant-eligible means the bank account or debit card on file can receive Instant Payouts. It does not mean Instant Payouts are turned on automatically.
For an Instant Payout to work, Stripe still needs:
- An eligible connected Stripe account.
- Payouts enabled on the Stripe account.
- Money in the instant-available balance.
- Eligible funds, usually card-payment funds. ACH or bank-debit payments must settle first.
- An Instant Payout action available in Stripe Express or through PoolDial's Stripe integration.
Default payout timing
Stripe's first live payout is commonly scheduled about 7 to 14 days after the first successful payment. After the first payout, many US accounts use a rolling availability delay, commonly around 2 business days for card payments, but Stripe can adjust this based on account type, country, industry, risk review, and payment method.
ACH and bank-debit payments are slower than card payments because they must settle before the money is available for payout or Instant Payout.
Why Instant Payouts might not show
If the bank account says instant-eligible but you do not see an Instant Payout button, the most common reasons are:
- There is no instant-available balance yet.
- The available funds came from ACH or bank debit and have not settled yet.
- Stripe has not made Instant Payouts available for the account.
- The connected account still has verification or risk requirements to complete.
- The account is viewing bank destination settings instead of the Balances or Payouts section.
Important: PoolDial does not currently have a separate in-app setting to change Stripe payout speed. The account owner should use the Stripe Express Dashboard from PoolDial. If Stripe Express does not show a faster payout option, PoolDial support can help verify the Stripe connection status, but Stripe determines final payout availability.
What to tell a customer
If a customer asks how to make payouts faster, the clearest answer is:
Open PoolDial on desktop, go to Billing > Stripe, and click Open Stripe Dashboard. In Stripe, check Balances or Payouts for payout schedule or Instant Payout options. If the bank says instant-eligible, that only means the bank can receive Instant Payouts. Stripe still has to show an Instant Payout option and there must be eligible available funds.
