ServiceTitan is an enterprise operating platform that connects field service with sales, marketing, inventory, payroll, reporting, and multi-location control. It is a broad field-service platform for many trades rather than pool-only software, and it has an official pool service offering. Its case is organizational depth: it is built to coordinate a complex service company with many technicians, high service volume, and several locations. The real question is whether your company needs that enterprise depth today.
I’m Parker Conley, the founder of PoolDial, which competes with ServiceTitan, so read this as a competitor’s review rather than an independent one. My personal take is labeled as opinion below.
What is ServiceTitan?
ServiceTitan spans call booking, dispatch, price books, estimates, financing, payments, marketing, inventory, payroll, reporting, memberships, commercial work, and job profitability. Its Enterprise Hub centralizes multiple locations, reports, service calls, and price books. The company emphasizes adding technicians, high service volume, larger tickets, and office-to-field coordination.
For pool work, its pool service page says customers can check chemical readings in the portal, and its technician app, ServiceTitan Field, supports forms, photos, and notes. Azureon selected ServiceTitan across pool construction and service operations. ServiceTitan’s current terms say the service is intended for use within the United States and Canada.
What ServiceTitan Looks Like
ServiceTitan pricing
ServiceTitan publishes packages, not dollar amounts. It prices per technician and offers three packages, and every one requires a quote:
| Package | Price |
|---|---|
| Starter | Quote requiredPriced per technician |
| Essentials | Quote requiredPriced per technician |
| The Works | Quote requiredPriced per technician |
Public pricing checked August 12, 2026. Modules and implementation can affect the total, so ask for a complete quote that covers technicians, modules, implementation, and contract terms. ServiceTitan pricing

Public reviews
A snapshot checked August 12, 2026 on Capterra and Google Play; the 3.8 is a simple average of the two. The platform and its field app tell different stories: Capterra reflects the overall product, while Google Play reflects the newer ServiceTitan Field app. These are dated platform scores, not a reliability test.
Founder’s take
My impression is that ServiceTitan is for much larger companies that need cross-department process, reporting, sales, and multi-location controls. If you need enterprise process, take ServiceTitan seriously.
I built PoolDial for smaller pool companies that want focused software, a modern product, and direct access to the founder shaping it with them. That is my positioning judgment, not a firsthand ServiceTitan migration study.
Who should use ServiceTitan?
- Larger operations in the United States or Canada that need cross-department process
- Multi-location companies that want enterprise reporting and centralized price books
- Teams that run inventory, payroll, commissions, and marketing attribution in one system
- Companies that sell customer financing, memberships, or commercial contracts
Details worth checking
- Contract and implementation
- Ask ServiceTitan to put contract length, implementation, and cancellation terms in the quote (packages).
- Pool chemistry records
- Complete a recurring route with readings, dosages, photos, and customer proof, and check how ServiceTitan Field forms capture them.
- The full job cycle
- Run a repair from call booking through estimate, payment, and accounting, and map who owns dispatch, price books, inventory, payroll, marketing, and reporting.
- Financing and marketing
- ServiceTitan includes customer financing and a deep marketing suite. Check which package includes the pieces you would use.
- Phone handling
- ServiceTitan offers call booking with recording and customer context for office teams. Compare that with your call volume and staff.
- QuickBooks Online
- ServiceTitan connects to QuickBooks. Test the records your bookkeeper needs.
- Taking your data with you
- Ask for a sample export with the customer, equipment, and service history records you need before you commit.

As PoolDial’s founder, my recommendation for a much larger company that needs cross-department process, reporting, and multi-location controls is ServiceTitan.
