How Cody SMS Works

Cody is your AI business assistant built into PoolDial. With SMS enabled, you can text Cody from anywhere — no need to open the app. Ask about a customer's gate code, check tomorrow's route, look up a service history, or get help with chemical dosing. Cody will never send you an unsolicited first message.

Opt-In Flow

Once verified, you can text your PoolDial number and Cody will respond.

Message Types

Cody SMS sends the following types of messages:

AI Assistant Responses

When you text Cody a question, Cody responds with an answer. Examples: customer lookups, route details, service history, chemical calculations, and business insights.

Verification Code

A one-time 6-digit code sent when you link your phone number. This is the only message Cody sends without you texting first.

Message Frequency

Message frequency depends entirely on your usage. Cody only responds when you text first — there are no automated or scheduled messages. You control the conversation.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. PoolDial does not charge separately for Cody SMS — it is included in your subscription plan.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving Cody SMS messages at any time:
