Raypak E3T Electric Heater Diagnostic Guide
The E3T table contains five codes. E1 and E2 stop heating and disable the buttons; E3 and E4 are ELS 0027 chamber-sensor codes that allow heating to continue; E5 describes an external-control state. Disconnect power before opening the enclosure.
Safety: Disconnect electrical power and follow the manual before opening equipment. Gas, combustion, line-voltage, pressurized-water, and refrigerant work belongs to qualified service personnel.
E3T fault codes

| E1 | The inlet sensor is shorted; buttons do not function and the heater does not heat. | Replace the inlet sensor. |
| E2 | The outlet sensor is shorted; buttons do not function and the heater does not heat. | Replace the outlet sensor. |
| E3 (ELS 0027 only) | Chamber 1 sensor is shorted; the heater continues to operate and heat. | Replace the chamber 1 sensor promptly. |
| E4 (ELS 0027 only) | Chamber 2 sensor is shorted; the heater continues to operate and heat. | Replace the chamber 2 sensor promptly. |
| E5 | Remote wiring is in use and the master external controller is not calling for heat. | Check the external controller's call-for-heat contacts. The remote circuit must be dry-contact only; applying voltage can damage the board. |
