Raypak Crosswind Heat Pump Diagnostic Guide
Crosswind and Crosswind V use different controls and different display vocabularies. Identify the exact model before interpreting a code. The two tables below intentionally stay separate.
Safety: Disconnect electrical power and follow the manual before opening equipment. Gas, combustion, line-voltage, pressurized-water, and refrigerant work belongs to qualified service personnel.
Original Crosswind E, P, and F codes

| Brownout | The 24 V transformer signal is low. | Check the configured 208/230 V brownout mode, incoming voltage, and transformer output. |

Running but not heating

| Basic performance check | A working unit should normally discharge air about 8–10°F cooler than incoming air in heating mode. | Check water flow, filter, valves, airflow, runtime, setpoint, and the three-minute compressor delay before calling service. |
| Apparent leak | Operating heat pumps can produce substantial condensation. | Turn the heat pump off while leaving the filter pump on. If dripping stops and the water contains no chlorine, it is condensation rather than a pool-water leak. |
